|We provide basic passport-related services through our network of Passport Seva Kendra, a
passport issuing authority. The Kendra is an extended arm of a local passport office with a walk-in
counter. It facilitates submission of relevant documents and duly filled-in application forms
required by an individual to get a new passport created.
The Electronic Queue Management System at the Kendra helps in adhering to the 'first in – first
out principle' during application processing. The Centre also provides consular and visa services to
overseas Indians and foreign nationals.
Other services available at these Kendras are information kiosks, public telephone booth,
newspapers, television and an air-conditioned waiting hall.
